Originally launched in 1956, the DD represented a significant innovation in horology: it was the first wristwatch to display the day of the week in full within an arc-shaped window at the 12 o’clock position on the dial—a technical milestone at the time.

● Seagull ST16 Movement: The heart of the DD36 is the Seagull ST16 automatic mechanical movement, renowned for its precision and reliability. It offers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. The rotor is directly connected to the manual winding mechanism, ensuring efficient energy transfer to the mainspring with every wrist movement. For optimal performance, if worn less than 10 hours daily, manual winding is recommended by turning the crown about 20 revolutions initially.

● Robust Stainless Steel Strap: Crafted from solid 316L stainless steel, the bracelet provides superior strength and durability compared to alternative materials. The Twinlock winding crown incorporates a double waterproof system and securely screws down against the case.
